Rescue Story: We got a call to take her from a local home. She was extremely skinny and malnourished. From the first day, Dulce has been super gentle, sweet, loving. We ran blood tests for her at the local vet and nursed her back to health and her best physique. She’s never been aggressive toward any dogs, humans, cats, and other animals. She has no unknown fears. She has been leash-trained by us and could go on long walks.

Zahara

Energetic | Daring | Outgoing | Brave

Rescue Story: Zahara was given away by her original owner, who is a travel nurse and had to relocate. Her new home didn’t treat her well; she wasn’t fed well and was tied down all day, and night long. She ended up being malnourished and was dumped at the local marketplace. Our local staff was contacted by the shop vendor and we took her in two years ago. She is one of the first rescues and has been with us for two years. She is tough as nails, is super loving and playful, has super high energy. She is perfect as an outdoors dog, has a good nose, runs super fast, and would love to go on hikes in the Pacific Northwest. Zahara gets along with dogs, cats, kids and has no unknown fears. She has been leash-trained by us and could go on long walks.

Lili

Rescue Story: The six 9-month old puppies (Lili, Athena, Zeus, Poppy, Cali & Rose) are part of the same rescue story. Their moms were in bad care at a local home and gave birth to six puppies. We were contacted by a local who brought us to look at them. The first thing we noticed was the presence of raccoons and other wild animals living with the dogs outdoors. We brought the puppies along with their moms here so they would not adopt abandonment or behavioural issues.

Lili gets along with dogs, cats, kids. She has been leash-trained by us and could go on long walks.

We brought the puppies along with their moms here so they would not adopt abandonment or behavioural issues.

Zeus has a big scar on his back when we first took a look at the litter, likely from a wild animal such as a raccoon. There were also maggots in his scar. When we brought him home, he stayed inside the house to be nursed by us, and now he is so healthy and happy. Zeus gets along with dogs, cats, kids. He has been leash-trained by us and could go on long walks.

Athena

Athena had a broken front (right) leg bone when we got to her, and we worked with a local orthopaedic surgeon to repair her leg. She was nursed inside the house, and now can run freely, but has a visible outward bone in the leg. Athena gets along with dogs, cats, kids. She has been leash-trained by us and could go on long walks.
